Qari Amar Bellaha
Abdessamad Bellaha and his father, Qari Amar Bellaha founded this foundation because they understand the powerful difference people can make when they unite for a good cause. Having significantly impacted their community in Morocco, they have witnessed firsthand the positive effects of their efforts. Through this foundation, they hope to extend the same benefits to others, ensuring more communities can feel and receive similar support.

Our History
With the support of the Muslim community in the Bay Area, we have been helping our community in Morocco for many years. However, we noticed a significant issue they faced: the scarcity of water. In a village located in the mountains of Oujda, residents had to walk several miles to obtain water from a dirty river which led to many health problems.
In Ramadan of 2023, we sought help from our community to fund a well for a constant, clean supply of running water. Despite the long and stressful process, we raised $35,000, and on June 7th, 2023, water emerged, alhamdolillah. It was a risk because we couldn’t guarantee finding water and had dug so deep we almost gave up, but we ensured everything was done correctly by hiring professionals to locate the best spot and working with a reputable team in Morocco to give us the best chances of finding water.
Now, alhamdolillah, the community has advanced, adding schools, hospitals, and more nearby. You can check out the project update [here]. After completing this project, we decided to help other communities, leading to the foundation’s establishment. Our goal is to benefit communities worldwide, inshallah. May Allah grant continuous rewards to those who support and invest in these projects.
