This project was led by Ayub Arsala, a member of the Muslim community in the Bay Area and an alumni of Northstar School. Thanks to everyone who donated, we managed to give the local mosque for Mazar-i-Sharif youth a much-needed renovation. We set up cabinets for Qurans and personal belongings, provided school supplies, installed a water well, put in new carpet, and gave the place a fresh coat of paint. Students in this community deserve the bare minimum in a classroom and inshallah this will make their Quran journey a lot more comfortable.
